November 2003
“The Ballad of Lewis and Clark”
It
Is Complete
Thank you for returning to vonsworks.com. We
appreciate all of you who have visited over the last nine months to
follow the progress of Eric von Schmidt painting, “The Ballad of
Lewis and Clark.” We’ve loved receiving your emails and reading your
comments in our online guest book.
In November 2003 Eric von Schmidt announced the
completion of this wonderful painting. He added a final touch to the
Montana Sky with more clouds and flocks of geese migrating south.
It’s hard to believe that it has been almost a year since Eric first
put his ideas for this painting as sketches on paper.
Please visit the different views of the
painting by clicking on the navigation buttons to the left. The
photos are provided to you at a larger than normal pixel size so
that you may enjoy the scenes – this means that there will be a
longer download time, but I think it will be well worth the wait.
Keep your eyes open for the April 2004 issue of
“Wild West” magazine, which will include “The Ballad of Lewis and
Clark.”
We invite you to continue visiting
vonsworks.com as we present future works of Eric von Schmidt.
